Whitley Bay, Tyne and WearReplaced roof, but numerous faults including no fire stop which is required by council. Main issue was Protect Zytek membrane was used without inserting vents causing mould all over loft, the worst place is over the front bedroom. Both the manufacturer & building control confirmed vents are required when using this membrane. We have this confirmation from the manufacturer in writing. Building Control failed the roof due to the mould so far. This has been confirmed in writing to Falcus by building control. Schedule of works stated he was coming back to remove mould & replace front valley but didn't do either of these. This is a breach of contract and can be proven by the email from building control and photographs of the work which has not been done. The owner asked to use toilet & whilst up there unknown to us, was taking pictures upstairs which he then put on his Facebook page which is illegal. I have evidence of this so that I can make a complaint to Trading Standards. Disturbing & creepy knowing that the owner has been upstairs looking around. It has left me very upset and worried about what he was doing whilst upstairs in my home. This has been reported to the Police. Under no circumstances use this company, I most definitely would not recommend.
