About the Business
At 16 he left school and started working for Crosby Roofing services then based in Chebsey. There he spent 2 years as a labourer carrying tiles and fetching everything he was ordered to fetch. Having spent 2 yrs learning absolutely nothing Rich decided to start working for his eldest brother at Avonside Roofing based in cannock. He spent around 5 years at the company working with various different roofers learning new skills. As the recession started to hit Rich left the company to work on private houses for a local company where he then spent 4 years learning the flat roofing side of things along with more advanced skills such as leadwork.
He also learned about fascias, soffits and guttering. Work started to dry up there so Rich returned to building sites with Hd Roofing and has been there ever since. Rich considers himself as a bit of a perfectionist and stands by the motto "If you haven't worked on building sites, you dont know your trade".
